This historic village of 19th century buildings is an amazing place to learn about history and have fun. Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad brings history to life! You can see people churning butter and pressing apples for cider (which was America’s drink of choice until the Prohibition).

It also has a fully operational train that runs on the Huckleberry Railroad. Visitors can take a leisurely train ride that passes by Mott Lake. The village has holiday events like Halloween Ghosts & Goodies and Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic.

One of the most beautiful locations in Genesee County, Stepping Stone Falls is a man-made water fall that turns Flint River into Mott Lake. The brutalist architecture of the dam is stunningly beautiful, and it is lit by lights during the night. Stepping Stone Falls has trails and picnic areas.

The dam was built in 1972 to create Mott Lake. It is stocked with bluegill and bass if you’re interested in fishing. You can reach the Flint River Trail, Bluebell Beach, and Bluegill Boat Launch from Stepping Stone Falls.
